A few of me…

Hey There!

Welcome to my world; at least the tiny public portion of my world.  This site is for me to share thoughts, activities, personal photos… Kind’a whatever I feel like sharing.  One of the main things I will be keeping up to date has to do with robotics work I do as a hobby.  I will be documenting my journey through various projects and experiments.  Look for Project Goon to get started.

Comments

I gladly welcome comments on the site and the postings.  I will moderate them but ONLY to eliminate haters, spammers, scammers, and the like. Dissenting opinions, corrections, comments, complements, and the like, will ALWAYS be welcome.  I do insist you sign up to comment though to help keep the spammers and scammers out.  If your post look legit, but your email address looks hokey I will send an email to confirm that you are really a person, or at least an AI with a good grasp of the language.  Other than that I will probably never email you directly, and I will try to keep the WordPress software generated emails to a minimum.  One thing I ask, I am a Software Engineer by trade so I write better in programming languages than in English, so, please be gentle on the grammar and punctuation comments.

Giving Credit Where Credit is Due

I love to design, create, and build, but I hate to waste time doing something that someone else has already taken care of, and did as well or better than I can.  To that end, I will be quoting a lot of other sources.  I will do my very best to remember to embed links and/or the details of where the information came from to a) Give the original author credit, and b) Give you direct access to more details without having to copy or recreate the details on my site.  If you see anywhere that I missed giving credit appropriately, PLEASE let me know so I can get it corrected.  Along those same lines, please give me credit if you reuse something I post.

All of the content that is authored by me is copyright by me.  However, I grant free non-exclusive use of any original content I post on bsBlog (Not my selling site http://bentscrew.com) for non-commercial purposes.  Obviously I can’t grant rights to things I copy or refer to so you’ll need to discuss those with the original authors.  If for some reason you want to use my work for commercial purposes, drop me a note and we’ll talk.
